Ottalaus was founded in 2019 by Sarieët Theron and has since grown from strength to strength. Our clients includes, but are not limited to, large corporations in the oil and gas plant industries as well as hexane oil extraction plants, service stations and those working with phyrophoric gasses.

FOUNDER - SARIEËT THERON
After excelling in hazardous area management for the past ten years, Sarieët knows what truly drives legal compliance.
Sarieët has been instrumental in the facilitation of the hazardous area classification process at Sasol Secunda through which 100% compliance (177 units) was reached within four years.
She is trained hazardous area management specialist with courses completed in hazardous area classification (Explolabs), dispersion calculations (PHAST) and has been awarded as 2017 Young Achiever of the Year by the South African Flameproof Association (SAFA)
